The start of Monday's doubleheader hasn't exactly gone the way the Chicago Cubs drew it up. Cade Horton was forced to leave the game early due to what appeared to be a blister issue, and while the Cubs' offense continued to look lifeless, the Brewers did what they do best: find ways to create runs. In doing so, they are taking jabs at the misery that has been watching Kyle Tucker play baseball over the last two months.
In the sixth inning of Monday's afternoon game, Brewers' right fielder Sal Frelick scored a run on a throwing error committed by Cubs' pitcher Luke Little. The ground ball was hit by Brewers' shortstop Joey Ortiz, who advanced to second following the throwing error by Little.
As if things weren't bad enough that Little was pitching in a game of consequence for the Cubs, the Brewers' social media team wasted no time in trolling Tucker.

Brewers take swipe at Kyle Tucker as Cubs hit new low
One of the very first things that is taught to anyone picking up the game of baseball is to run it out. Even when it looks like there is going to be an easy out at first base, run it out. In other words, exactly what Tucker didn't do during the Cubs' victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. Instead, Tucker watched on from the batter's box as the play unfolded. Tucker then had a lowly walk back to the Cubs' clubhouse boos rained down on him from the Wrigley Field faithful.
Of course, the troll of Tucker comes at a time when the Cubs' All-Star right fielder has looked lost offensively. Before the game, Jed Hoyer all but confirmed Tucker has been playing through an injury, and in doing so, created some bad swing habits. Regardless, for Tucker and the Cubs, this hasn't been the outcome anyone envisioned after his MVP pace during the opening months of the season.
Also, as an aside, it's another reminder of why the Brewers are better at the game of baseball than the Cubs. The Brewers' roster, from top to bottom, leaves nothing up to chance and will always find a way to force the issue.
