Eric Cole

I started my career writing about baseball covering the Atlanta Braves for SB Nation's Talking Chop back in 2015 which has since been renamed Battery Power. After years of writing for those fine folks, I made the decision to take over as Site Expert at House That Hank Built before becoming a full-time MLB Staff Writer for FanSided in 2023. Along the way, I have been a guest on multiple ESPN radio affiliates as well as 680 The Fan and 92.9 The Game to discuss Braves baseball and especially Braves prospects and was a long-time host on the Battery Power podcast. These days, I continue to write about the Braves as well as covering the Astros, Padres, and Angels with particular expertise with minor league coverage, the MLB Draft, and bashing Anthony Rendon when possible. When I am not writing about or talking about baseball (which is seldom), I am an avid baseball card collector (Maddux and Soroka being my primary personal collections) and I also collect shark teeth. All other sports are mostly dead to me as my Bills have broken my heart too many times.

Jake Misener

For more than a decade, Jake has been a staple in FanSided MLB - leading the Cubbies Crib team for most of that time.When he's not in the bleachers at Wrigley Field, he can be found covering all things Cubs - including the latest hot stove rumors, roster breakdowns and statistical analyses. Inducted into the FanSided Hall of Fame in 2018 and featured on Bleacher Report, Jake has 15+ years of sports journalism and blogging experience - and is now focused on teaching his daughter the ways of Cubs fandom.

Jordan Campbell

For nearly 15 years, Jordan has been a workhorse across the FanSided network - including being the inaugural site expert for Cubbies Crib, as well as a stop at Da Windy City as the site expert. In addition to returning to be a Co-Site Expert at Cubbies Crib, Jordan is currently the Site Expert at Bear Goggles On. When the Bears and Cubs are not trying to test Jordan's patience, he can be found at the gym or in his other job---running "The Progrum" in College Football 25. Since 2010, Jordan has dedicated his craft to providing insightful commentary on all things Chicago sports.

Nick Neumayer

Nick joins FanSided with a lifetime of experience following Chicago sports, joining Cubbies Crib in 2025. He previously covered the Loyola Ramblers men's basketball team for NBC Sports Chicago as a beat writer, reporting on regular season, NCAA Tournament and NIT games across a three year span. Nick graduated in May of 2025 with a bachelor's degree in multimedia journalism from Loyola University Chicago and will be pursuing his master's in sports media at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in the fall.

Oliver Vandervoort

Oliver has spent decades rooting on his favorite teams from the sidelines and the stands and now he gets to cover them for Fansided. He's the Site Expert for Husker Corner and Slap The Sign, the Co-Site Expert for Nolan Writin and an analyst/contributor for Cubbies Crib and Kings of Kauffman.
