Chicago Cubs News: Phillies possible for Arrieta; WS is the goal
While former Chicago Cubs’ starter Jake Arrieta continues to look for a home, the Philadelphia Phillies make sense. And Tom Ricketts sent a clear message to the Cubs, to get back to the World Series.
Former Chicago Cubs’ ace Jake Arrieta is “having dialogue” with the Philadelphia Phillies. If this surprises you, it shouldn’t. Arrieta is looking for a pretty big payday, and the Phillies might be able to get him not for a steal, but a better bargain than they might have thought.
