Ending a season-high four-game losing streak, the Chicago Cubs took care of business in a 9-7 win over the Milwaukee Brewers Tuesday.

After facing steep criticism for much of the weekend, the Chicago Cubs’ bullpen showed what it was made of on Tuesday, setting down 15 of the final 16 batters faced, leading the team to a 9-7 win over Milwaukee.

Kyle Schwarber and Miguel Montero each launched homers in the win. Brett Anderson struggled badly, but was picked up by a resurgent offense and bullpen. Jason Heyward also added two hits and a run, raising his season average to an impressive .300 clip.

More from Cubbies Crib

Earlier in the afternoon, we chatted with Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo. The reigning NL Platinum Glove winner is making the rounds with BODY ARMOR as one of their athletes. We chatted about the partnership, the path that led him to the Cubs and why he thinks fans have been so anxious early-on.

Looking back at the last decade, the Cubs rank near the top of MLB. In fact, Chicago comes in at 11th during that stretch, but will likely soon take 10th. One writer also looked at potential lineup changes for the North Siders. After Tuesday’s win, it will be interesting to see if those calls continue.
