Just in case you missed it, Wrigley Field will be under going some heavy renovations over the next couple of years just in time for the 2016 season as reported by Cubbies Crib editor Jacob Misener.

Now the Cubs have relaunched Wrigley Field’s official website which will provide fans with up-to-date info on where the renovations stand. They also provide info on how the project titled ‘The 1060 Project’ will create up to 2,100 brand new jobs in addition to the 7,000 which are supported by the organization itself.

Not only do they list the benefits for those who received a job, but for the fans, neighbors, and the city of Chicago, Illinois itself.

Wrigley Field has always been a destination for almost every tourist who visits the city of Chicago. Even those who don’t necessarily like the sport of professional baseball visit ‘The Friendly Confines’ because of its 100 plus year history.

Wrigley Field’s new look website provides fans with plenty of details regarding what they’re working on over the next two years.

The future is definitely bright for not only the franchise, but for the city of Chicago as well. Theo Epstein believes that the Cubs have enough talent to compete with guys like Javier Baez, Anthony Rizzo, Jorge Soler, and other up-and-coming players working their way to the Major League level.
