Thursday the Chicago Cubs officially named Rick Renteria their 53rd manager in the franchise history. Six new managers will take the field next season with five of them being a first time manager like Renteria. The City of Chicago’s Landmarks Commission approved a minor tweaked to the Cubs’ expansion plan. Thursday night instant replay continued to be done swiftly conducted in the Arizona Fall League. Finally, Cubs second baseman Darwin Barney took home the Wilson Award.
