Cubs Affected By AZ Shooting

Every once in a while there comes a day where what happens on the field is irrevelant. This past Saturday was one of those days. As I’m sure many of you are aware of the incident that transpired in Arizona, where Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was speaking to her supporters when a gunman opened fire on the crowd.  Gifford was one of 13 people wounded, while another 6 were murdered.  Among those that lost their lives was Christina-Taylor Green, who was the daughter of former Chicago Cubs General Manager Dallas Green.

Many citizens have portrayed strong political feelings about the horrific event that took place on Saturday. By no means is Cubbies Crib doing so, we just simply want say God Bless to all the families that were affected by this tragedy.
