The Chicago Cubs didn't get the result they were looking for against the Cincinnati Reds, getting swept in their three game series by a combined score of 25-10.

The Cubs have now allowed at least eight runs in four straight games, dating back to a 10-1 loss to the Mets.

They'll look to get back on track this afternoon when they roll with Marcus Stroman (2.95 ERA) in tonight's series opener against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Let's dive into the odds for the game and then I'll give you my best bet.

Rays vs. Cubs odds, run line and total

Rays vs. Cubs prediction and pick

It's hard not to back the Cubs as underdogs when Stroman is on the mound.

He has been fantastic this season, especially at home where he has a 2.68 ERA and a 0.973 WHIP.

The same nice things can't be said about Taj Bradley, who has allowed at least three earned runs in three of his first five starts. He's also coming off the worst start of the season, giving up nine hits and four earned runs to the Blue Jays in a game that ended as a 20-1 rout.

We may also start to see some regression for the Rays offense, that started the season off red hot. They're not juts sixth in OPS against right-handed pitchers in the month of May, giving an opening for Stroman to put together a strong start.

The Rays bullpen has also been atrocious, ranking second last in the Majors in bullpen ERA this month at 6.13.

I'll back the Cubs as small home underdogs on Memorial Day.
