South Bend Cubs (A+) (36-48)

The South Bend Cubs lost to the West Michigan Whitecaps 4-0

Man, the South Bend Cubs are not great. They are the lone team in the system (with the major league team excluded) that has been an anchor to the overall record as they fell to twelve games under .500 after getting shut out again.

Kevin Alcantara (OF) went 1-for-4 with a double. That’s the best offensive stat line I’ve got for you from this one.

Luis Devers (RHP) went three innings and allowed four earned runs on seven hits and five walks while striking out two.

Max Bain (RHP) went 1.2 scoreless, hitless innings but he did walk four batters and struck out one.
