Look good, feel good - right? New Cubs outfielder Cody Bellinger is a key piece to the puzzle for the team heading into 2023 and he's already showcasing some of the swagger and flair that made the former NL Rookie of the Year and MVP a fan favorite in Los Angeles.

If nothing else, the transition from the Dodgers to Cubs allows Bellinger to stay consistent with a red, white and blue color palette in his gear. Looking at the custom Nike shoes he was wearing during an appearance on Marquee Network Friday, it's safe to say he's got his style figured out.

The Cubs haven't changed much in terms of their uniforms in awhile, with the exception of the City Connect threads the team dons for Friday home games and last summer's Field of Dreams Game throwbacks. But that doesn't mean players can't find ways to spice things up a bit, as Bellinger made clear down in Arizona.

Looking for a big-time bounceback, the 27-year-old Bellinger inked a one-year deal with the Cubs with the intention of re-entering the free agent waters next winter with his value re-established. Since the 2019 season, when he not only brought home NL MVP honors, but also an All-Star selection, Silver Slugger and Gold Glove, he's been a shell of his former self.

Here's to hoping Belli has his swagger back - and that these kicks are a hint that he's feeling himself with just over a week until Cactus League action kicks off.
