This is the pick that left me scratching my head during and after the draft and I’m even more confused seeing that he commanded a $150,000 signing bonus. This man was bad, no way around it during his time at Campbell University, but perhaps the Cubs like his lefty arm and think they can turn a bad pitcher into a good pitcher with some development.
