Probable Starting Pitchers

Making his second start of the season for the Chicago Cubs is rookie Hayden Wesneski. After showing mixed results in his start against the Cincinnati Reds last week, Wesneski looks to settle down against the Seattle Mariners. While the Mariners do boast an offense that has the potential to put up runs in a hurry, Wesneski had an impressive showing against Seattle during Spring Training.

Opposing the Cubs on Tuesday night will be starting pitcher Chris Flexen for the Mariners. Flexen has appeared in two games with the Mariners this season as he pitched out of the bullpen for the Mariners in their March 31 loss to the Cleveland Guardians and had the start last Wednesday in the team's loss to the Los Angeles Angels. Flexen has allowed 3 runs on 6 hits and 5 walks in 9 innings pitched this season.
