Probable Starting Pitchers

Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Drew Smyly will look to return to form in his start against the Seattle Mariners on Monday. Smyly was awful in his first start of the season last week as he allowed 7 runs (6 earned) on 9 hits and 2 walks against the Cincinnati Reds. While it may still be too early to suggest that Smyly is pitching to save his spot in the team's rotation, it is worth noting that Kyle Hendricks is ramping up his bullpen sessions with the goal remaining of returning in May.

Starting for the Mariners on Monday is former National League Central rival, Luis Castillo. Castillo has yet to allow a run this season as he has pitched 11.2 shutout innings while striking out 12 hitters.
