They Myrtle Beach Pelicans lost to the Down East Wood Ducks 4-3 (Game 2)
The Pelicans were on the wrong side of a big comeback in game one of this doubleheader. They had a 4-0 lead to start the game due to the score prior to the suspension on Tuesday, but it was a tie game by the end of the third inning and that would spell doom for Myrtle Beach. The second game featured a much better pitching performance all around, but it would also lead to a loss as the Pelicans were swept in their double header.
Rafael Morel (OF) went 2-for-3 with a home run, a single, two RBI, and a run scored.
Ismael Mena (OF) went 2-for-3 with two singles and a stolen base.

Pedro Ramirez (2B) went 1-for-2 with a single, a walk, and a run scored.

Jackson Ferris (LHP) threw 3.1 hitless innings. He did allow an earned run on two walks but he also struck out nine in what would be a theme for the evening as 17 of the 18 outs the Pelicans recorded were strikeouts.
Gregori Montano (RHP) went one inning and gave up three earned runs on four hits and a walk while striking out three.
Angel Hernandez (LHP) finished up the game with 1.2 perfect innings and struck out all five batters he faced.
