Trade: RHP Cade Horton
2022 first-round pick Cade Horton has gained national attention without even completing a full professional season yet. After skipping over rookie ball and beginning the season with Myrtle Beach, Horton has already made his way to South Bend where he has yet to find his footing. Despite recent struggles, MLB has Horton listed as the 65th-best prospect in all of baseball. I say trade him.
Unlike Wicks and Brown, Horton is still years away from getting to the big league level despite his stock being so high. Since he came out of nowhere during the draft season and has a very small track record of success, the Cubs should see what they can get for their No. 2 prospect since the positional need at starting pitcher is low.
