The cardiac Chicago Cubs have done it again.

Faced with another game where the bullpen imploded, the Cubs' offense played savior on Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Trailing the Dodgers 10-9 with in the bottom of the 9th inning with 2 outs, Cubs' catcher Miguel Amaya launched a home run that sent the game into extra innings.

After Porter Hodge worked magic in the top of the 10th inning to keep the game tied at 10, Ian Happ wasted no time in calling game during the bottom frame.

For the Cubs, the game had an eerily similar feel to the one they played against the Arizona Diamondbacks last Friday. In a game that many already consider to be the best game ever played at Wrigley Field. It was a game that saw the bullpen give up 10 runs in the top of the eighth inning, only for Kyle Tucker to save the day, as his two-run home run gave the Cubs the lead right back. Seiya Suzuki's home run gave the Cubs an added insurance run en route to their 13-11 victory.

On Tuesday night, Brad Keller struggled to find his command in the seventh inning as he gave up 5 runs on 2 hits and 2 walks. Complicating matters for Keller was Gage Workman making his second error of the night. Workman, who is on the team for his defense, has struggled to find his ground at third base during the early weeks of the season. This is a conversation that will need to happen, but for now, the Cubs survive another game due to their offense.

After the 5-run inning from the Dodgers in the 7th inning, the Cubs scored 2 runs in the 8th thanks to a Kyle Tucker two-run home run. Tucker's home run set the stage for the heroics in the 9th and 10th innings.

As was the case with last Friday's game against the Diamondbacks, this is a game where the Cubs would have lost last season due to the inconsistent production from their offense. This season, from top to bottom, the Cubs are getting production from every member of their lineup not named Dansby Swanson. Of course, having Tucker helps.
