After a busy - and by most evaluations, successful - offseason, the Chicago Cubs are mere weeks away from reporting to camp in Mesa. There's less than a month until the team kicks off the 2026 Cactus League slate, which opens with a crosstown showdown against the White Sox on Feb. 20.

Spring training will be fans' first chance at seeing newcomers like Edward Cabrera and Alex Bregman, as well as familiar faces like Nico Hoerner, Pete Crow-Armstrong and Shota Imanaga. Sloan Park will be buzzing as excitement builds for the 2026 regular season. Here's what you need to know this spring.

What is the Cubs' spring training schedule for 2026?

While some of the bigger names on the Cubs' roster will step away from camp for the World Baseball Classic, Cactus (and Grapefruit) League action will go on uninterrupted, so fans needn't worry about getting their dose of baseball in the Phoenix area in the coming months.

How do you buy tickets for Cubs spring training games?

Tickets for Cubs spring training games can be purchased directly on cubs.com. If you want to see the Cubs somewhere other than Sloan Park this spring, you can visit the website of the team they're playing/that's hosting the matchup.

How can you watch Cubs spring training games on TV?

Bad news, Cubs fans. Another passing year means another decrease in the number of Cubs spring training games that will be broadcast on Marquee Network. Two years ago, there were 28 games aired. Last year, that number dropped to 17. And, in 2026, we can expect that number to fall into the single-digit range.
