The Chicago Cubs and the three players the team is counting on to have successful ‘first’ impression in the second spring training

The Chicago Cubs have a few players that need to turn it around if you want to be on the team. You can’t have a .150 average and bat clean-up. It just doesn’t happen. So who is it? Spring training 2.0 will calm a lot of nerves–if you have been good. If you’ve been bad? Likely it’s the endgame as far as results. It’s Triple-A or worse for you.

So what Cubs are due for a good ‘spring training 2.0?’ It might not be guys you think of. Okay. I’ll admit, I can see them from a mile away. And it’s three of the players. Not thirty. Willing to take a guess? A curveballer that has no control over it? Or a .300 hitter that hitting .150? We look at three players that need a mulligan on their spring training. Otherwise, they may not be looking at playing time.
