The obvious hope is Higgins continuing to progress up the organizational ladder. Cubs fans want all their prospects to pan out as it is only natural, and given the importance at the catcher position, Higgins could turn into someone on the radar to follow.

His size can create a challenge, however, do not doubt his ability and drive toward the highest level in baseball and, if anything, should help him to compete more with the clubs other prospects and everybody loves a little healthy competition.

As a previously unknown prospect to many fans, Higgins should be someone to continue following in hopes he will advance his skills to the major leagues a couple of years down the line and right into the hallowed walls of Wrigley Field.
