Chicago Cubs: Bad boy KB

It all started with Bryant jokingly calling St. Louis boring in January at the Cubs Convention. While the comments were taken out of context throughout sports media in St. Louis and most definitely Yadier Molina, it was just the beginning of Bryant’s comments about anything a reporter has asked him this spring.

Bryant has not been shy this spring about the CBA and its flaws that affect up and coming players through baseball’s minor league system. It has started conversations about whether the way the Cubs handled his call up in 2015 will come back to haunt them when he hits free agency in 2021.

I know the season has yet to begin and nothing about this really points to a real reason why Bryant could win MVP this year, but this is the kind of attitude Cubs fans have never seen from Bryant. I understand the Cubs are trying to sell motivation and the revenge factor for last season’s bitter ending, but for Bryant individually, it is a side Cubs fans have never seen. I’m absolutely here for it.
