Chicago Cubs: A big-time gift for big-time fans

So, if you’re looking for the perfect holiday gift for that special Cubs fan in your life, and money is no object, it would seem to me that a five percent stake (which was, to my understanding, just a stake with no voice or any kind of voting power in team decisions) in the Chicago Cubs would be a pragmatic and phenomenal choice.

Who would say no to the return on investment that stakeholder would have seen over the past nine years?  Who would say no to that for the next decade?

Next. Why are there baskets at Wrigley Field?. dark

Um, oh yeah. If you are interested in that stake (if it is, in fact, even still available in the first place), it’s probably going to run you somewhere in the neighborhood of $150 million.  Ho-Ho-Hope Santa sees that one on my list!
