Chicago Cubs fans are going to want to pick up this talking Pat Hughes bobblehead from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and FOCO.
Today, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a brand new bobblehead that every Chicago Cubs fan will want to get their hands on.
It is an officially licensed, limited edition bobblehead features Pat Hughes and it plays his historic call of the final out in Game Seven of the 2016 World Series.
The sculpt is of Hughes at a desk with a microphone, and a button press triggers his iconic call that saw the Cubs become champs for the first time in 108 years.
Hughes has been the radio play-by-play man for the Chicago Cubs since 1996. He is also the only Cubs’ announcer to call a championship – yeah, because back in 1908 we didn’t have radio and television yet.
So he’s as big a piece of Cubs history as Kris Bryant or Anthony Rizzo.
Each bobblehead comes numbered one to 2,016 and they’re available for pre-order right now. You can even get one delivered before Christmas for just an extra $5. But, if you’re fine waiting until January, the bobblehead is just $40. Regardless of when it’s delivered, there’s an $8 flat-rate shipping fee that accompanies the purchase. So maybe pick up one for yourself and one for a friend.
So don’t wait. Head on over to the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s online store today and order your talking Pat Hughes bobblehead.
