The Chicago Cubs got a great start from Jose Quintana as they beat the Milwaukee Brewers in the series three out of four.

For the Chicago CubsJose Quintana, it was one inning that sabotaged his excellent day against Miami. This time out, there was no bad inning. Quintana tossed six innings of shutout baseball, while Ben Zobrist hit a go-ahead home run to pace the Cubs to a 3-0 victory. The bullpen was as masterful, as Justin Wilson, Carl Edwards Jr. and Brandon Morrow all tossed an inning of work to close out the game.

If you’re a betting man, you might have taken Tiger Woods at the Masters. Maybe not. But following those same lines, you might find that the Cubs are the favorite to land Bryce Harper in 2019. The Yankees? Not likely after acquiring Giancarlo Stanton. Even the Nationals–where he’s played his entire career–is behind the Cubs. Could it be that the Cubs are the favorites? Betting lines can change, so we’ll just have to see. But it is an interesting proposition.

On our page, you’ll see some–wonderful–things said about the Cubs players. Often, it’s “trade him,” especially when a player starts off poorly. Well, that’s Ian Happ. After hitting a home run in his first at-bat this season, to winning the game with a two-run single–it’s not been fun in-between. Lots of strikeouts. But don’t give up on Happ. He might not be the leadoff hitter we hoped. But it doesn’t mean he can’t be a productive hitter for the Cubs.
