It’s starting to get a little strange, don’t you think? Whenever the Chicago Cubs need a moment, a breather of sorts, the weather helps them out. After an 18 inning marathon, storms came to the rescue in Colorado.

The Chicago Cubs needed a break. Anthony Rizzo and Javier Baez were beat up. They just lost an 18 inning heartbreaker to the New York Yankees, then had to get on a plane and head to Denver to play the Rockies. If only they could somehow get a chance to rest? Enter the weather. Once again the Cubs were saved by rain, although they will have to play a doubleheader today. But I’m sure if you ask any of the Cubs, they’re fine with this.

When David Ross started on DWTS, he impressed many of us with his nimble moves and creativity. But I don’t think we expected much. I mean, he’s spent much of his career crouched behind the plate. How good could he do? The answer is no less than the semifinals as he and his partner Lindsay Arnold advanced last night. Folks, grandpa Rossy can dance.

The start for Rizzo has been a rough one. But these are the type of slumps he’s endured throughout his career. This very well could be the worst he’s ever started a season with, but some of the ridiculousness of what commenters have said simply needs to stop. Rizzo is going to be fine, just like he has been every other time.
