The souvenir business was good to the Chicago Cubs and Bryzzo in its first season. So they’re back again, and they’ve had to hire some help. We also have five Cubs that should improve in 2017.

Last season the Chicago Cubs introduced “Bryzzo”, a play on Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo‘s last names as a souvenir company. While it was all in good fun, it was very well received. And so they make their return for 2017, and with growth comes expansion. The new Bryzzo spot has some new additions to the company, including an intern just trying to start a new career.

If you’re a fan of video games and baseball, it’s likely you love The Show by San Diego Studios. It’s become the best baseball game on the market, to the point where it’s phased out the competition. So simulations of the MLB season are always popular. Last season, the Cubs were the simulated winner. This year? Brace yourself Cubs’ fans. A repeat isn’t coming.

The Cubs had a fantastic season, and many individuals did their part to help lead them to the World Series. So how many of those players can be better than they were last year? (Yes, we know Jason Heyward. The only way to go is up, right?) Our Adam McGinnis has five Cubs that are likely to improve on their 2016 campaigns.

The Cubs closed out their spring schedule with a with over the Houston Astros. But it was another solid performance from Kyle Hendricks that’s got people talking. Yes, it’s mostly minor leaguers and guys that aren’t going to see the majors this year. But it’s a sign that Hendricks isn’t looking to have a regression this season.
