The Chicago Cubs outfielder celebrated his 24th birthday, so we joined in the celebration. We’ve got some of his best since he arrived in Chicago. And did an NL ERA title change Kyle Hendricks?

At just 24, the Chicago Cubs outfielder/part-time catcher already has a fine list of accomplishments. From his big game in Cincinnati to the World Series, we take a look at some of his best as War Bear turns the big 2-4. At that age, I was still trying to figure out what to do with my life. He seems to have a good grasp on his.

After a breakout season that saw Kyle Hendricks go from the unassuming No. 5 starter to a Cy Young candidate and NL ERA leader, you would assume he had to change a little bit, right? You would be wrong as he’s come into camp with the same mentality and demeanor. As well as that chip on his shoulder that he’s had since he arrived.

When you think about Tommy La Stella, who do you see? The scrappy second baseman that can hit? Or the player who almost retired after being sent down to the minors last season? That moment changed the perception of him for many fans. But what if it happens again this year? Will he willingly report to Iowa?
