The Chicago Cubs look to earn another series win as Jon Lester takes the hill in the finale against the Colorado Rockies.

Following Jake Arrieta in the rotation in a home start isn’t an easy task. Jon Lester will do his best as the Chicago Cubs (9-2) take on Tyler Chatwood and the Colorado Rockies (6-5). Carlos Gonzales will look to extend his 21-game hit streak for the Rockies after finishing last season with a 10-game streak.

Lester (1-0, 2.77) has fared well against the Rockies in two starts, going 1-1 with a 1.93 ERA. With Lester on the mound again, David Ross will start his second consecutive game. Manager Joe Maddon isn’t concerned about Ross catching back-to-back days. Plus with Ross in his final season, he can “empty the tank” this year if needed.

Chatwood (1-1, 4.38) will be facing many of the Cubs for the first time as he makes his Wrigley Field debut. Ross has faced him the most of today’s starters, going 2-for-5 with two RBIs. Anthony Rizo is 2-for-3 with a home run against Chatwood.

For Lester, he’s seen very little of the Rockies lineup, except for the veteran Mark Reynolds. With just a .235 against Lester, he’s far from dominated him but he and Gonalez are the only two to homer against him.

Sunday’s game will also be the one-year anniversary of Kris Bryant‘s call up to the Cubs as he plays his 163rd game as a professional.

Here are the lineups for today’s finale:

First pitch is scheduled for 1:20 p.m. CT and will be televised on WGN while the game will also be broadcast on The Score 670.
