Legendary rock-and-roll band AC/DC made their return to the spotlight to kick-off the 2015 Grammy Awards this past weekend and boy did they really set the tone.

Now according to the Chicago Cubs’ official Twitter handle, Stevie Young, Angus Young, Cliff Williams and Brian Johnson will invade Wrigley Field on Sept. 15, 2015. It’s apart of their recently announced ‘Rock or Bust World Tour’ – which will feature other sports venues such as Gillette Stadium, MetLife Stadium, Olympic Stadium, Ford Field, AT&T Park and Dodger Stadium.

It’ll be the first time the band has been together on a tour in five years, the last run dating from 2008-2010 where they traveled to 29 countries for 168 performances. They brought in a total of five million fans during the ‘Black Ice Tour’.

This year is surely proving to be one of the best concert summers in Wrigley Field history. It was revealed not too long ago that the Foo Fighters would be playing Wrigley on Aug. 29 – a show that was announced shortly after the band played the Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville.

Anthony Rizzo and the rest of the Cubs will be wrapping up a 10-game road trip with a three game series starting on Sept. 15 against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Hopefully the boys will be looking to pick up some serious ground at the top of the N.L. Central during the time.

They’ll begin their road trip on Monday, Sept. 7 against the St. Louis Cardinals after a brief home stand ending vs the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Shortly after AC/DC wraps up and moves onto their next venue, the Cubs will come back home for a nine game divisional home stand on the 18th.

Fans should be making a ton of noise during the final home games of the season.

Tickets for this anticipated return and performance by AC/DC will go on sale Monday, Feb. 16.
