The Chicago Cubs have a couple key guys who are arbitration eligible this off-season including starting pitcher Jake Arrieta.
Arrieta (10-5, 2.53 ERA) had himself a career year in 2014 with the Cubs and flirted with a no-hitter on a couple occasions. He recorded a career and single season best 13 strikeouts that game, allowing only one hit and one walk in the 7-0 victory.
Welington Castillo is also on the arbitration list and had himself a career season as well. Castillo, 27, finished the year with 13 home runs, 19 doubles, 46 RBIs, and 90 hits in 380 at-bats with a batting line of .237/.296/.389.
