The Red Sox kept busy by sending starter John Lackey to the Cardinals for starter Joe Kelly and first baseman Allen Craig, then reliever Andrew Miller to the Orioles for minor leaguer Eduaro Rodriguez and utility man Kelly Johnson from the Yankees for Stephen Drew.
The Tigers acquired David Price in a three-team blockbuster with the Rays and Mariners.
