Junior Lake and Anthony Rizzo homered to lead the Chicago Cubs to a 3-0 victory over the Cardinals Saturday afternoon at Wrigley Field.

The win marked the Cubs’ first series win since last September and extended their winning streak to three games. Jason Hammel will take the mound Sunday night as the Cubs look to sweep their National League Central rival St. Louis.

Around the league; Red Sox’s Jon Lester struck out 15 against the Athletics, White Sox’s Adam Eaton and Brewers’ Ryan Braun have been placed on the DL, and the Giants hit three home runs to top the Braves.
