After dropping the first game of the day-night doubleheader in the Bronx, the Cubs will go at it again starting at 6:05 CST, hoping for better results without Masahiro Tanaka on the mound. The Cubs were thoroughly dominated by their top offseason target, totaling just two bunt hits in eight innings against Tanaka.

The Cubs will face another tough task however in game two, in Michael Pineda. Pineda (1-1, 1.50 ERA) has started out very strong out of the gate coming off of injuries these past couple years, looking like the pitcher the Yankees believed they acquired from Seattle.

Chicago will counter with a tough opponent of their own, with Travis Wood (0-1, 2.92 ERA) set to take the hill against this strong Yankees lineup. Wood is looking to replicate his wonderful performance from last time out when he tossed six innings of one-run ball, while striking out nine Pirates hitters.

After taking game one off, Welington “Beef” Castillo will be back behind the plate tonight, while Ryan Sweeney and Ryan Kalish will also return to the lineup.

The night game will be televised on WGN-TV as well as MLB Network, and if you can`t make it to the television, the game will be on WGN 720 radio.

The Cubs will look to split the rare doubleheader in the Bronx with this lineup:

The Yankees will counter with this lineup, including Derek Jeter back after a few games off:
