Chicago Cubs top prospect Javier Baez turned his ankle taking groundballs with Triple-A Iowa on Friday and will go on the seven day disabled list, tweets Des Moines Register’s Tommy Birch.

Infielder Edgar Gonzalez has been activated to fill Baez role while outfielder Jae-Hoon Ha has been re-assigned to Double-A Tennessee, according to news release from the Iowa Cubs’ website.
Baez was hitting just .154/.214/.423 with three extra-base hits, including two home runs. He also walked twice and struck out 10 times in eight games for Iowa.
The 21-year-old hit .294/.346/.638 with 20 home runs and 54 RBIs at Double-A Tennessee last season. His home runs and RBI totals led all of Double-A. The Puerto-Rican native was the ninth overall selection of the 2011 MLB Draft.
