Daytona would put up a better fight during the second game of the double header. Dunedin put up a one spot during the top of the first off a sacrifice fly by K. C. Hobson to make it 1-0 early on. Daytona would respond with a run of their own during the bottom of the third courtesy of a Pin-Chieh Chen double to right field. Marco Hernandez would come across to score to make it a 1-1 ball game. Dwight Smith would ground out to shortstop Hernandez allowing Michael Reeves to help give a 2-1 lead back to the Blue Jays.

Dunedine would add another run during the top of the sixth thanks to Jorge Flores shooting a single to right field to make it 3-1. Shortly after, Dwight Smith would add two more by doubling to left field, making it 5-1. The Blue Jays weren’t done just yet as K.C. Hobson picked up his second RBI of the night off a sacrifice fly to make it 6-1 going into the bottom half of the inning.

Dan Vogelbach would launch a three run home run to left field, driving in Pin-Chieh Chen and Albert Amora, bringing the Daytona Cubs within two runs. There were unable to close the gap, allowing the Blue Jays to pick up a double-header sweep.
