Happy Opening Day to those who come across this article to check out tonight’s previews for the Iowa Cubs, Tennessee Smokies, Kane County Cougars, and the Daytona Cubs. Last night each of these four teams opened up their 2014 Minor League season. Only one of the four Cubs affiliates were able to walk away with victories over their opponents. Iowa, Smokies, and Daytona fell to the opposing team, while the Kane County Cougars were able to pick up the victory.
So while the Chicago Cubs open Wrigley Field back up for some Cubbies baseball against the Philadelphia Phillies, the younger guys down on the farm will be looking to get some work done of their own. Let’s get these previews for tonight’s action started. First up, the Iowa Cubs.
