Yesterday, the Chicago Cubs (1-3) picked up their first win of the spring, defeating the Milwaukee Brewers by a 4-2 margin. Today, the club hands the ball to 2013 organizational minor league pitcher of the year Kyle Hendricks, who went 13-4 with a 2.00 ERA in 27 starts, splitting the year between Double-A Tennessee and Triple-A Iowa.

Toeing the rubber for Oakland will be Tommy Milone. The 27-year-old won a dozen ballgames for the Athletics in 2013 and will look to continue building on his solid performance this spring.

This afternoon’s game is slated for a 2:05 p.m. CT start at Cubs Park in Mesa. There will be an audio broadcast via MLB.com. No television broadcast is slated for today in terms of the Cubs’ team.

Here are today’s starting lineups.
