Former Chicago Cubs pitcher Greg Maddux was elected to the Hall of Fame on Wednesday along with Chicago White Sox first baseman/designated hitter Frank Thomas and Atlanta Braves pitching teammate Tom Glavine. In his second year on the ballot, former Houston Astros infielder Craig Biggio missed induction by just two votes. Beyond the Hall, there is more Masahiro Tanaka talk around the league and he has arrived in the United states to begin meeting with teams.
