Cubbies Crib: Morning Marquee 12/6

New Chicago Cubs manager Rick Renteria addressed the media for the first time at Wrigley Field over a month after his hiring. Renteria spoke about his understanding on the Cubs organization and the young talent within it.

The Robinson Cano saga continues with the Seattle Mariners and the New York Yankees. Two former St. Louis Cardinals: infielder Rafael Furcal and reliever Edward Mujica will not be divisional foes in 2014. Furcal signed with the Miami Marlins and Mujica with the Boston Red Sox. The Brewers also traded outfielder Norichika Aoki to the Kansas City Royals.
