The Chicago Cubs made a move by signing left-handed reliever Wesley Wright on Wednesday. This is a big move for the Cubs’ bullpen because it gives left another lefty alongside James Russell. The Wrigley Field plaza beer, wine proposal by Ald. Tom Tunney was delayed at City Council but did get preliminary approval for more flexibility to schedule night games. Cubs president Theo Epstein was interviewed by a panel on CSN Chicago Sports Talk Live where he addressed the current state of the team and the team moving forward.
