It is Shark Week for the Chicago Cubs’ Hot Stove trade rumors. The Blue Jays are reportedly putting together a package of young players for Jeff Samardzija while Toronto General Manager Alex Anthopoulos denied any speculation on players his team is pursuing this offseason. On Sunday afternoon, the St. Louis Cardinals resolved their issue at shortstop by signing Jhonny Peralta and the Los Angeles Dodgers reached a deal with pitcher Dan Haren. The Miami Marlins are interested in signing Dioner Navarro and pitcher Joel Hanrahan is looking for a team to play for next season.
