The Cubs (45-55) begin a three-game set with the defending World Champion San Francisco Giants (46-55) at AT&T Park. Chicago is coming off the heels of a split of a four-game series split in Arizona, and a 3-1 loss in the finale last night. Edwin Jackson (6-11, 5.03 ERA) will make the start for the Cubs, and is coming off a seven-inning start in which he allowed four runs (three earned) on five hits. He will be opposed by a struggling Matt Cain (6-6, 5.00 ERA), who has combined to pitch just eight innings over the course of his past three starts, pitching to an earned run average of 14.63 over that span.

Tonight’s game can be seen on WGN, and heard on WGN 720 Radio, with first pitch scheduled for 9:15 p.m. CDT.

Here is the Chicago lineup for tonight’s game against San Francisco.
