Fresh Faces: Welcome Stan Croussett To Cubbies Crib

As you may know, Cubbies Crib has been slightly understaffed as of late.

We went from a very strong team of 5 extremely talented writers over the summer and were whittled down to 2 co-editors for various reason. Our former editor Jordan has moved on to cover all of Chicago sports for FanSided (check out his site here) and it’s dawning on me how much work he really put in to this site.

Joe and I have been busting our humps for about a month now to bring you the best possible Cubs coverage we can muster up, but we’ll be adding someone to the staff who brings a lot of knowledge and flair to the team.

Meet Stan Croussett.

Stan has a certain “je ne sais quoi” charm to him and is a stand-up gentleman. I’ve been following Stan on twitter for quite some time now and have always admired his level headed approach to baseball analysis. Not only is he opinionated, he’s extremely good at digging out raw details or anomalies in stat lines.

This man knows baseball – so much in fact that we just had to make him a part of the team. Really… it was criminal that he was left un-drafted for so long.

Stan will likely be publishing by next week, and frankly I can’t wait to see what he churns out. The man has over 70,000 tweets, so he clearly has a few things to say.

Be sure to give him a warm welcome. You won’t be disappointed.
