While there may be no baseball to celebrate today, it does not take away from the meaning of Christmas day. Today is day that we forget about any type of rivalry-Cubs vs Cardinals, Cubs vs White Sox- and just enjoy being in the company of one another. On Christmas, we all enjoy the presence of family and friends and enjoy being thankful for everything that has happened to us in the past year.
Personally, having been the lead writer for Cubbies Crib for about a year now, I just want to thank all of you that have supported this site, and enjoyed the articles that I write. That really may be the best gift that any one can give me, just knowing that in a way people like the stuff that I write. I also want to thank Joe Han and Luke Blaize, because without them, Cubbies Crib would not have blossomed into what it is today.
