Sucked for the Cubs to get rained out instead of having a shot at sweeping the Pirates (which I’m certain they would’ve done). It was okay for me though cause I was locked in on the Tiger/Yang showdown at Hazeltine. That was much more riveting than another Cubs annihilation of Pittsburgh would’ve been.

Ted Lilly goes Monday night for the Cubs against San Diego at Petco aka The Place Home Runs Go to Die. Carlos Zambrano is scheduled to do some rehab work and will be back August 25 against the Nationals (unless he can’t be bothered to get out of bed that day).
