The Chicago Cubs played to their first tie of Spring Training, a 1-1 contest with the Cleveland Indians. Also, the Cubs will have some questions they need to answer as they attempt to repeat as World Series Champs.

The Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians were back at it again in Mesa, and once again they couldn’t decide it in nine innings, finishing in a 1-1 tie. Matt Szczur drove in another run, which gives him three here early on in the spring. And Javier Baez was simply being Javy as he made a sparkling play on a ball up the middle to get the out. Eight pitchers took the mound for the Cubs, and they only surrendered three hit on the afternoon.

With those questions, we also have one more. Have the standard expectations for Cubs’ fans changed? Is it now ‘World Series or bust’ for the Cubs? For most that probably isn’t the case. But there are some fans out there that aren’t sure how to handle winning. But in all honesty, can you blame them? We hadn’t done it on this level for 108 years.
