With a roster that looks to have most spots locked in, the Chicago Cubs continue to add players via minor league deals to solidify depth.

The Chicago Cubs have continued to add depth–mostly in pitching–with minor league deals and invites to camp. Hype videos have become common these days. Some made by sites, others made by fans. With the excitement surrounding this year’s team and the success of last year’s, it’s made for some really great ones. The next one in line is up and it’ll give you chills.

The Cubs depth shows up on the MLB’s “All-Depth” team, and even an ex-Cub to boot. Maddon is known for utilizing his bench, and 2016 will be no different as the Cubs have several players they can move around. Oddly enough, the most versatile player–Ben Zobrist–looks to have found a home at second base.
