The Baltimore Orioles spent big to keep Chris Davis, signing him to a seven-year, $161 million deal. The Orioles now have a payroll that they haven’t seen before with the Davis deal. The biggest tie of this with this deal is Scott Boras, who also represents Jake Arrieta. The battle between Boras and Theo Epstein should be an interesting one when it comes to Arrieta.
