Cubs Tickets Carry 70% Premium For Series Vs Cardinals

The Chicago Cubs welcome the St. Louis Cardinals for three games at Wrigley Field this weekend. While the Cubs have suffered yet another dismal season, the Cardinals are in the thick of a tight battle in the NL Central with the Brewers and Pirates, who currently sit in first and second place. The history of rivalry between these two teams has allowed secondary market ticket price to skyrocket at Wrigley Field this weekend despite the Cubs’ poor play.

The season average for Cubs tickets on the secondary market is $73.60 and each game during this weekend’s series will see an average well above that price. The series as a whole will be 70% above the season average.

The Chicago Cubs schedule will host the Cardinals once more in September following this weekend’s series.
