After Wednesday’s game was postponed due to inclement weather, the Chicago Cubs (13-25) and St. Louis Cardinals (20-20) will decide their series this afternoon in a matinee matchup at Busch Stadium.

Chicago turns to right-hander Jason Hammel (4-1, 2.45 ERA) in the finale of Chicago’s road trip, during which the team has posted a 2-5 record in matchups against the White Sox, Braves and Cardinals.

Opposite Hammel is young St. Louis right-hander Michael Wacha (2-3, 2.85 ERA), who is still searching for his first win since he defeated the Cubs when the two teams squared off at Wrigley Field earlier this season.

First pitch is slated for 12:45 p.m. CT at Busch Stadium. The game will be broadcast on CSN and WGN AM 720.
