The Chicago Cubs (13-24) and St. Louis Cardinals (19-20) will do battle again Tuesday at Busch Stadium as Chicago looks to make it two straight wins after a 17-5 rout of the Redbirds on Monday night in the series opener.

Junior Lake led the Cubs offense on Monday with a career-high 6 RBIs that came via a three-run blast and a pair of doubles. Third baseman Mike Olt added his eighth home run of the season, as well.

Tonight, Ricky Renteria hands the ball to right-hander Jake Arrieta (0-0, 2.89 ERA). Arrieta will square off against St. Louis ace Adam Wainwright (6-2, 2.02 ERA). The Cubs beat Wainwright in Chicago back on May 2, when the right-hander allowed a season-high six runs and 10 hits in his shortest outing of the year, totaling just five innings.

Tonight’s game will be broadcast in the Chicagoland area on WCIU, as well as on the airwaves on 720 AM WGN.
